The summer holidays are just around the corner! 🌞 so here’s a little update regarding children’s ear piercing, as it’s that time of year! ✨
•We pierce childrens ears from age 6/7+ with their consent; some children change their minds once they arrive in the studio, and this is absolutely fine! We won’t pierce anybody who doesn’t want to be pierced
•If the child is under 10, we will pierce their ears at the same time for them with a piercer on each side (if our shop door is locked, we’re in the studio piercing a little one! Please wait outside until we have finished)
•We are 100% honest with children about the piercing process, explaining what they’re going to feel and each step as the piercings are carried out (no 1, 2, 3 and piercing on 2!)
•We need accompanied parental or legal guardian consent to be able to do the piercings if they’re under 17 years of age. If you’re a legal guardian please bring guardianship documentation with you, family members other than parents (siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles etc) cannot give consent.
•Children will need to avoid swimming in public pools and open bodies of water for the first 4 weeks, and then use high quality waterproof plasters until they’re fully healed (this can be anywhere from 6-12 weeks)

🌱 We use packaged sterilised gloves to perform every piercing; only the cleanest and best for our clients!
🌱 Each piercing gives you a stamp on our loyalty card, giving returning clients money off their future piercings!
